Meet the Staff

This page gives us the opportunity to introduce the pastor and key staff members.

Dr. Curtis Barbery

Dr. Curtis L. Barbery is the pastor of our church. His dedication to his faith and to the Church is a strength that benefits us all. Dr. Barbery is the former Pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in Bennett, N.C. where he was Pastor for over 40 years. Dr. Barbery has held over 700 revival meetings and preached in many foreign countries during his ministry.

Dr. Barbery has held numerous Southern Baptist denominational positions including President of North Carolina Baptist Pastors Conference, Chairman of North Carolina Baptist Study Committee for Fruitland Baptist Bible College, Chairman of Board of Directors for Fruitland Bible College, Interim President of Fruitland Bible College, member of the General Board, and member of the Executive Committee.

His wife Mae is also a source of inspiration and faith for our Church. Mrs. Barbery actively teaches and works with the youth of our Church.

Pastor and Mrs. Curtis Babery

Reverend Bryan Maness, Assoc. Pastor and Youth Director and Dr. Barbery.

Reverend Bryan Maness is the Associate Pastor and Youth Director. Brother Maness brings new energy and vitality to many of the programs at our church. Reverend Maness graduated this summer from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute.

Johnny Williamson, Deacon Chairman

Brother Johnny Williamson is Chairman of the Deacons. He is a long time member of Beulah Hill Baptist Church and has served the Church in many capacities. Brother Johnny is known for his firm teaching of the Bible and an unrelenting faith in God which he shares graciously.

Lois Correll , Church Clerk

Lois Corell is the Church Clerk. Lois always has a smile on her face, and plays a vital role in our daily activities. Sister Lois joined the mission team to Mexico in 2006 and contributed a huge part to its success.

Ken Loyd ,Minister of Music

Ken Loyd is Minister of Music and also plays the organ and piano. Ken also leads in other major activities including the Mission Trip to West Virginia each year and our joint service with a local Spanish speaking church each Christmas season.

Delores Collins, Church Treasurer

Delores Collins is the Church Treasurer and also plays the piano during Church Services. Delores has been vital to the success of many of the Special Programs conducted by the Church.

Harry Graham, Sunday School Director

Harry Graham is our Sunday School Director. Harry is also a Deacon and has been a leader in our Church for many years. Brother Harry can always be counted on for Christian leadership and service.
